California Speed Way

Tatiana's Winter Guard has a fundraiser that involves volunteering at the California speed way during a race as an usher. Every parent is required to at least work one day. I'm not that into NASCAR but oh well, we (grandma and myself) chose to work Saturday which was the Stater Bros 300. It really wasn't as bad as I thought, and it was Danicka Patricks day to race so that was kinda cool. We also had a fun supervisor that made it even better, and we had a great view of the race.
The bad thing was it was cold as hell frozen over! At least it didn't rain.

Disneyland

It was a beautiful day so where to go Disneyland of course! It was lots of fun and Chantz came with us which was lots of fun since he's only been twice before it was fun to show him some of our secrets. And he also likes the "scary" rides, so we went on some of those while Grandma and Syd took a break.

The change to tulips is one of our favorites.

Syd kept her 3D glasses on the whole time at the bugs life movie and tried to catch the little butterfly.

She also loved the view from the ferris wheel.

and no trip is complete without a ride on the merry-go-round.

Super Bowl Sunday

It's a little late but here are some fun pics from our relaxing Super Bowl Sunday. We weren't planning on doing much but a few friends did end up coming over in the end. Starting the morning off with Mickey Mouse shaped pancakes, Sydney love to help cook just about anything and everything.

Backwards

Tatiana and Chantz had a week filled with fun "backwards" shinanigins. Then at the end of the week they went to the Backwards dance or as in my era Sadie Hawkins. We went to watch Chantz cheer for the Powder Puff game, he made a great pep squad boy ( and hey he can pull off a skirt even with majorly hairy legs. lol)

Sweet 16

We thru one heck of a Sweet 16 for our baby girl Tatiana. It was a "Rave" theme complete with hundreds of glowsticks, candy necklaces, and a million ring pops! And I am so thankful that the week of major rain stopped just in time :)Getting ready for the crowd!
